SFDGC holds a weekly informal doubles round every Tuesday night at 5:30pm (during daylight savings time).  This is random draw best shot doubles.  Costs $5 to enter and winners get paid that night.  This is the best way to get to know some other club members and to play with people you do not normally play with.
