Club Update 25 April, 2000
Operation Dream 2000 went off without a hitch on the Saturday before Easter. SFDGC members were out in full-force, and so were the youth of San Francisco. As soon as we get the pictures developed and scanned, we'll put 'em up on the site.
The 11th Annual San Francisco Safari is going to be a charity event, co-sponsored by the Friends of Recreation and Parks, and the SFDGC. Proceeds will be used to donate athletic equipment to San Francisco schools, and Operation Dream 2001. There are still many ways to get involved in the tournament, from playing, to volunteering, to sponsoring. Be sure to stay up to date by checking the Safari Site early and often.
There has been lots of interest in reviving the weekly shoot a rounds, it's just a matter of organizational difficulties at this point. Q is out with a bad back right now, and probably won't be able to throw a disc until well into July, so bear with us as we learn to delegate.
