6.5.98: Tuesday Shoot A Round in Rotation
There are now two distincly different disc golf object courses mapped out in the Presidio; Presidio East, aka Julius Kahn Playground, and Presidio West, aka 15th and Lake. Each course is worthy in its own right, and desrves to be shot on. If the National Park Service were to say today, "We'll let you put in one course, but you have to choose between the two," we would be hard pressed to make a quick decision. Both courses are that cool.We are going to alternate between the courses for the rest of the summer, starting the week of June 1, and we are going to spend three weeks shooting the Safari course, making sure it is playing well, fine-tuning some of the new holes, and generally gaining an edge on the rest of the field =). Below is the schedule through mid-July:
- June 9: "Presidio East:" Julius Kahn Playground, 6:30pm
- June 16: "Presidio West:" 15th and Lake entrance to Presidio, 6:30pm
- June 23: "Safari" 25th and Lincoln entrance to Golden Gate Park: 6:30pm
- June 30: "Safari" 25th and Lincoln entrance to Golden Gate Park: 6:30pm
- July 7: "Safari" 25th and Lincoln entrance to Golden Gate Park: 6:30pm
