The Presidio Lives!
I guess I was a little too melodramatic when I first "met" with the Rangers in the Presidio, and subsequently it quickly came to be accepted that the Presidio was no longer disc golf friendly. Wrong! We are just not allowed to put anything permanent in the Presidio, yet. I was shooting quick nines every night after work right up until the time change, knowing the whole time that once we were in Daylight Savings I would only be shooting golf on weekends, or before work (yeah, right).What I have decided to do is heed the advice of Jeff Fiedler and Ross Hammond and see if we cannot get 18 holes in on the East side of Julius Kahn Playground. I am going to haul a practice basket out to the Presidio on Saturday, November 1 at about 10:00am to remap the East course. I think we will keep the starting point, as well as #1 and #2, but I would like to reconsider the whole course from there. If you can make it out there, great! If not, I know that in the future I will give you a chance to shoot at 18 baskets out there, whenever you feel like it.
Nor Cal Championships
The Nor Cal Championships are taking place on November 8 and 9 in Novato. For more information get in touch with Mike of the United Flyers of Sonoma.Sorry I let the place get stale for a while, but my girlfriend of five years, Miriam, just left for Europe for eight months, and she always has precedence over disc golf, no matter how I beg. =)
