Dreams Do Come True!
For years now it has been my dream to be out shooting a round in the Presidio and come across people I do not know shooting the course. Well, I was out in the Presidio getting ready to shoot a round on Saturday evening when I spot two guys walking up, X-Clones in one hand, and the directions to the course in the other! I introduced myself, and they told me that they had found out about the course through the web (what a surprise). Andrew, Dave, Tolstoy and I proceeded to shoot a round and have a blast =). They got a kick out of the course, calling it, "The most fun course we have shot."Andrew and Dave were also into helping out with the course, and the three of us were able to move the branch that has been blocking the tee for #18.
Did you hear that Mr. Welty? The eighteenth tee is wide open now!
So, come on back and shoot it again, eh?During the round I could not help but notice that someone has been working on the course. All I can say is, "Right on!" Whoever you are, I love you man (or woman =).
