I did not want to go back out to the course today, for fear that all of the posts would be torn down again. I did not know if I had the energy to put 7 posts into the ground 2 days in a row. The whole way up to the Presidio I was wondering what I would do if they were all down again, when I would put them in again.Figured it would be tomorrow.
Figure I figure too much, some days. It has only been 24 hours, but all of the posts I sunk into the ground yesterday are still standing: if they make it the weekend I will be ecstatic. Forget about lofty dreams of tournaments being finished on hole #18, I look forward to the day I can shoot a round without having to re-sink a "hole."
I remain confident that we will find a way to work with every other recreation in the Presidio, and that a course can only benefit the area.
I am shooting the course tomorrow at 11:00a, come join me.
