Weekly TD's

With the course scheduled to open on March 31st, we will once again start up the Sunday morning weekly. This will be a handicap tournament that will start every Sunday between 8:30am - 10am. We are now looking for people who are interested in helping out with taking sign ups for the weekly.

What this involves is showing up a few minutes before 8:30 and collect peoples money and filling out a sign up sheet. You will need to man the sign up table from 8:30 to 10 and then you can go play your round. You will need to collect peoples scorecards and e-mail the scores to Scott S., who as volunteered to keep track of results for the weekly.

This is a great way to get to know some more club members and get to play a round of golf with people you would not normally play with.

If you are interested in being a TD for a weekend here and there please reply to this message and I will e-mail you with further details.

I can run some weeklies. Let me move to SF and get settled first. Perhaps towards the end of April?

i am going to try very hard to get sunday/monday (i work in a hotel) off...if so I will be happy to volunteer every weekend I attend...just gotta wait two weeks for my boss to get back! May the disc gods bless me and it will work out...

Hey folks,

So this was my second weekly in SF, but after we finished our round I didn't know what to do with the card.  Am I supposed to hand it off to someone, or drop it somewhere?  Since I'm back home now, can I email in our scores?

Normally you find the TD or put it in the mail box on the course sign.

Good deal.  Thanks!  (In Berkeley we put it through Neil Bondy's front window -- which he leaves cracked open for scorecard collection.)

Les and I are looking into getting another mailbox to put on the post on the other side of the sign - so there won't be the chance of someone walking off with one of the weekly scorecards because they want the map.
