Club Meeting this Thursday (March 15th)

Hello Everybody -- The SF Disc Golf Club will be holding a meeting this Thursday (March 15th) at 7pm at the "Eagles Drift In Lounge", 1232 Noriega St.  (at 19th Avenue).

The provisional agenda includes:

-- an update on the walk-through with the Parks Department and discussion of what is left to do to finish the course
-- status of Opening Day plans and what else needs to be done
-- a discussion of the weekly (who can help run it, hours, etc.)
-- financial update
-- future club involvement in disc sales
-- membership fees for '07
-- maintenance of the GG Park course
-- plans for McLaren

Please let us know if there are othe issues you'd like discussed.

If its not too late for tonight's meeting, add "TV Broadcasts" to your agenda.

If you have a local resident who wants to join your local community access station and get some disc golf on tv in the area, here's a link to the station:

Free copies of Disc Golf Live video magazine are available (16 one hour episodes so far) and it would be wonderful for more folks in San Fran to learn about disc golf.

Also, if anyone is interested in capturing your new course on video, I'm sure there are folks across the country who would like to see what's happening in your area.

DGL comes out on DVD, and from that its easy to make up a tape to meet station requrements. Some stations even use the DVD directly.
