Anywhere from 3.5 to 4 hours, Sea Pines Golf Course in Los Osos, about 20 min north of SLO has just installed a disc golf course on the GOLF COURSE! Right on Morro Bay and they have a hotel. There is also some great hiking in montana de oro right up the road, very pretty. Waller Park in Santa Maria is a great course, great variety, lots of fun. Heilmann is also a great spread, I only played the front 9 of Laguna and wasn't very impressed, but half of it was swamp due to the recent rains so I would like to try it when dry. SLO is a great area, not as far as you think, and remember SLO Farmers Market Thursday night!
drive for show, putt for dough....
