April 1st BD for the SFDGC - tournament interest?

Hey SFDGC'ers,

We are thinking about putting on a one day event in April to help raise money for the new course at Junipero Serra. If all goes well at the next meeting Pepe & Stick will have there course and we all as DG'ers will be STOKED to have a EPIC new DG course in the Bay Area. What are your thoughts as club members about something like this. We are thinking about a single round of 18 using some great positions and having a great day out on the course. Going with the rolling start from 8:00 to 11:00 gives people plenty of time to get down and get a round in. There will be a discount for all club members who play in this event. Prizes TBD

Please let us know if you are interested in helping with this event or of others ways to help generate funds for the new DG course at Junipero Serra.

JT — Biennial (or Bi-annual) Birthday Bash has a nice alliterative ring to it. (Semi-annual can mean every two years, but since it also can mean twice a year, I recommend biennial.)
