add a tournament section to forums

i think we should add a tournament section to the forums so that:
a) we can post flyers and registration info on upcoming tourneys
b) help people find folks to carpool and camp with
c) have a place to write about locals destroying the competition,  snakebite stories, run-ins with the park ranger, slummy camp sites, where to eat, where to get a good beer.

just a thought... or we can keep posting this stuff in general discussion area.

We do, but maybe should consider renaming it. ?

Club events such as meetings, parties, fundraising events, tournaments, etc.
(that is the one for tournaments)

This is the forum to view scores from and discuss the Sunday Weekly.

I think the question is:
What is the realm of our club?  

The purpose of our club is clearly defined on the site.

I mean, we could have a Berkeley forum, a norcal forum, yada yada.  I suppose some of it should be left to the club running the events instead of on our forum.  

Not that you can't post it, but it IS 'general discussion', no?

Great idea Kim!  I'm trying to decide between a keg of hopsickle and pliny the elder for this weekend.

oh man!  i don't think i can publicly state that pliny is better than ye olde hopsickle... but holy goddang russian river makes some of the best beer around, period.  of course hopsickle beat it out at the great american beer fest and at the double ipa fest (though pliny the younger was people's choice).  you really can't lose my friend.  so many great double ipas, so little time.  i may sneak a keg up there myself.  it'll help me weasel into someone's camp site and have a place to stay
