watering?

The plants are getting thirsty. very thirsty. Who's gonna be the one to water em?

I watered a couple on Sunday.  ;)   We just need a system of marking watered trees.

The plants are dying and desperately need regular, deep soaking. Given the sandy soils at GG Park, the new plants will need at least weekly waterings for their first year while they get established. Otherwise all of that good work putting them in will be for naught.

We need to call upon the daily players to get involved here, as they are on the course far more than most of us. Simply placing a sprinkler in one zone at the beginning of a round and turning it off at the end would do a world of good here. We could perhaps also make it a part of the Sunday or Tuesday weekly?

ok. Scott and I watered yesterday on holes 4 and 5. Unfortunately, the plants on hole 11 did not get done because we only brought the stand-alone sprinklers instead of the hoses. So that still needs to happen. The plants on 12, 14, and behind the 4 tee still need to get hit. who's next?

i was out watering today...all the new plants to the right of 12A and the right of 14B. i managed to get a few of the plants on the left side 14's fairway. the spray wasn't large enough to soak them all.
