WORK PARTY: FEB. 9th 8am-???

I just wanted to reminded everyone that there will be a work party on Saturday Feb. 9th from 8am-???.  We are hoping to have 200 plants that will need planting that day so we are going to need a lot of help at this work party.

As always, the course will be CLOSED during the work party.  This allows the people who are taking the time to volunteer to work on the course, the freedom to work on the course without fear of getting hit by a disc.  We will open the course after the work party which could be late afternoon depend on the number of people who show up early.

If you are unable to make this work party, remember we will now be having regular work parties on the first Saturday of even numbered month, so the next on will be April 5th.

I big thanks goes out to all of you who help out on Saturday at the work party.  Over 40 people showed up to help with the planting of 200 new plants on the course.  Anybody who played in the weekly this morning was witness to the efforts of the club.  Let's try to keep the course looking great and try to keep those plants alive.

There were also some big efforts to remove fallen trees and debris from the storms in January.  A huge chip effort was put in by a few different teams and it really looks great.

Thanks to Les for making sure everyone had a pair of gloves and a bottle of water.

The new plants are going to need some watering and hope we can keep
These ones thriving. I'm planning on getting some more flags and stakes so that we might mark and protect the little things. Also a few other little projects still to be done and may try to get some in this Saturday.
