SFDGC Member Number 500

We just went over 500 members since whenever we started tallying member #s.  Granted not all are currently 2007 members in terms of paying dues.

That means that the membership drive at the start of the year is going to be very important.  Please lean on other members to renew as early as possible.

No, David Fettner is lucky 500.   You're #497, and unfortunately this is not a prime number.

I think Rob Byers sends out the bag tags, I forwarded this to him for response.  I would assume he's only sending them once a week or so, it hasn't been very long, may have already mailed even.

We are sort of getting ready for 2008 membership renewals but looking at changing the process a little and I'm sure everyone will be kept posted.  

It would actually be preferred that you don't renew quite yet, we're only 3/4 into 2007 and the minor changes for 2008 are not done yet.  It would look as though you've joined for 2007 unless you literally use the renewal page instead.  There are some things to figure out, (for me at least), like are we giving out 2006 bag tags again in 2008?, ordering new ones, or what? And what's the cost.  I would prefer higher than $20 if you ask me, that's too good a deal for a "free" hobby we play 365 days a year, especially if we're looking at adding another local course soon.  

The club officials will work on this over the next 1-2 months and I'm sure everyone will be recieving email reminders with a link to renew when the time is closer.

We will have new bag tags in 2008.  The cost is still yet to be determined.  We will not be doing renewals till 2008 so everyone will just need to wait.
