Hotels Near The Course?

I have gotten a few inquiries fro peole looking to stay in a hotel near the course. Any suggestions?

Seal Rock Inn is one of the closest hotels.  It is just up the road from the cliff house and sutro baths.  Price range is bout 150-175 per night.  The Seal Rock Inn is kind of a strange place.  It was a 50's family style hotel so the rooms are massive but a little outdated.  There is a hottub but you will have to listen to the kiddies playing ping pong and badminton etc.  A major plus for the Seal Rock is that it has free covered parking.  

My favorite lodging gem for when the young folk come visit is the hotel Metro (Divisadero and Page).  It is not the nicest place in the world (not scummy just not schmootzy) but you get your own room and bathroom in a great location for around $66 a night.  Maybe not the best place to send your aging parents but an awesome cheap alternative for everyone else.
