Yet another full color artwork for the Safari

The SFDGC hosts an annual PDGA tournament in August.

Yet another full color artwork for the Safari

Something I cooked up this weekend ... the numbers might be a little off, but I can easily fix that.

Suggestions welcome, thought the deadline's tomorrow.

Me too. I tried to keep that as subtle as possible

Here's take two. Replaced the basket, added stumpy, and did a couple of other things.

Very cool design.

I have 1 on topic and one on/off topic comment:

On Topic: The safari is not what everyone put the time in for, we put it in for the disc golf course in general.  I'd have pictured that verbage on an O.D. disc more than a safari disc.  Certainly doesn't bother me and nor am i even in the safari, but it just seems like the two shouldn't go together.  I guess though, from purely a marketing standpoint it is a good idea...

Off Topic: I love stumpy, I think it's great.  However, every time I see pictures of it I have to ask myself: "If I were a tree hugging liberal, wouldn't I use this image to show '*the author has tried to use the f-word here, unsuccessfully, and has forfeited his bag tag* the trees, let's put up baskets here for our little hobby!' examples of keeping ANY changes from my local park?  I don't know...  Just not the best picture in terms of tree lovers.  it's too bad there really isn't a way to show that the tree was probably down before the basket idea came about...   How about throwing in a tree protection somewhere? :)

The design is very cool though, I want one! :0

Maybe we could show a bunch of stumps and put something like:

Disc Golf:  Clearing the way for our fun!!!

Yay! Made the deadline! Here's the final cut. It'll be on full-color Buzzz's and MiniStars during the tournament.

Tim, yeah, the verbage was more opening day, but hopefully this is less. I was trying to give homage to all the people that made the course possible.

If you were a tree-hugging liberal, you'd probably cry everytime you hit a tree with your disc.

Me tired. Me go sleep now.

OK...UPDATE:

This will not be on the minis.  Not sure what disc model this will be on.

Send me a photo of the disc when it's made for the disc designs page.   This is Mr. Lee's design, correct?

it is a very cool design, nice artwork.

Yes, you're right Brian.  i'm so bad i should offer my services to lumber companies and just wrap a chainsaw blade around my Reaper.  I think my tomahawks could down a Sequoia from any old growth forest.

Did we need another stumpy by chance?
