Looking for DG club input

Hello SF DGers,
I am a Portland Oregon DGer in search of some information. We are planning on startinf a new DG club in the area and am loking for input from other clubs. Does anyone there have any type of paper trail on the formation of your club? We aren't looking to reinvent the wheel and know others have formed successful clubs. Any input/insight would be greatly appreciated.
