Want to play me for #001? If you've never been a holder of this coveted token I would like to invite you to take a shot at it.
Entry fee: $20 wager.
First come first served for a weekday afternoon challenge.
I would like the challenge to be a foursome so first 2 or 3 served. Day and time will be ironed out.

That's mighty clever of you to use the #1 tag as a money maker for yourself.

Technically, a golfer carrying a tag within 50 of #1 only needs to challenge you
for it and you've got yourself a round.

I'm carrying #29.

Lets rumble.

Todd you're in. May not be technical but a group allows more players to challenge. Wager could be money loser for me.
Additional requirement: must be holding #50 or less.

Hunt, sorry if i wasn't clear(er).

All a sfdgc golfer needs to do is challenge you to a round
for your tag and its on. Money is not required to do so.

I appreciate your high stakes game play but I wouldn't put
up $20 to play for the #1 tag, no matter who was carrying it.
Perhaps something less significant but not $20.

However, I will challenge you to a round the traditional
way (minus the entry fee) and if you accept, lets gather
2 more and be on with it for the fun of it.

I'd like to just take the old man's $$$. If I get #1 as well, then so be it.

Hunt, I'm in. Also, I'm only charging $4 to play for the 8 tag if anyone's interested.

haha, ruthless bag tag capitalism!

That said, I'll entertain $3 wagers for the #3 tag. All challengers are eligible, not exclusive to 53 and below. Best deal on the market! (until the next person posts)

OK - I'll drop the $20 side bet requirement - don't want to corrupt you guys. I'm a gambler and like the added competitive pressure but probably shouldn't use my tag to get some betting action.
I'll be on hole 1 at 2pm Thursday ready for up to 3 challengers.

I'm ineligible to play for #001 by Hunts eligibility requirements but I'll play ya Faes for 3 bucks. I won't even stick ya with the ole #095 cause I'm back in black at #022 for now.

Thanks for respecting my former holder requirement Stick. Before I lose it right away to you or PB I'd like to milk it for as many competitive rounds as possible.

Way to do the right thing Hunt.

Anyways, I've got to work tomorrow
and won't be able to make the 2pm
tee time. Perhaps another day.

Good luck.

Let us know the results so we
know who to challenge. ;-)

Stick - I wasn't serious about the $3 wager as a requirement - I just felt that someone needed to beat the lowest bid. However, I'm almost always willing to throw a few dollars down on a round for extra incentive. If you can make a slacker's late appearance at the weekly on Sunday, instead of your usual punctual 8:30 start, I will be happy to lose the 3tag to you. I will try to get there early, but history suggests a pre-9am tee time is unlikely.
