Hole numbering

Has any one ever discussed renumbering  a few holes.
Like changing 17 and 18 to 15 and 16. Make 16 new 17 and 15/18.
(The older you get the steeper the hill gets.)
Also the lead  cards can heckle as they  walk to tee 17 past the basket for 18.
Just curious.

people have definitely thought about this. A number of people will play hole 17 after 14 if 15 is clogged and the 17 tee is open.  The other thought is to to play 15 after hole 11, then play 16, then hole 12 and go to 17 and 18 after 14.

I don't mind the little climb from 16 to 17. Try the high knees method. It'll do your lungs some good....
