Below are the tentative hole distances (in feet) for the new GG Park Disc Golf course. Hole lengths were measured by shortest air distance through primary fairway -- i.e., doglegs were measured along the inside edge of primary fairway rather than a straight line from tee to basket.

My guess is that the record will be in the 45-46 range.

I dunno -- there are a number of Club members who have not been at the work parties. If they've been playing up at Novato or Berkeley instead of digging holes anything is possible :P

the way we "ripped it" on 5 the other day lends itself to the idea that a 41 is not only possible, but probably a commonality out there.

Leonard, can you spend the next work party finding out elevation differences for all of the holes while the rest of us toil with *caca* labor? Thanks man.

re: measurements and elevation differences. my elevation device isn't working well, so i don't have that info. :) but i did guestimate the difference between how far a hole measures and how far it plays -- accounting for elevation change, fairway ceiling/height, technical (curvy) flights, wind (not much), skippy greens (rare), etc.

Hole 1:
A Pin 239 / 249 (plays 10 feet further than it measures)
B Pin 243 / 258
C Pin 294 / 319

Hole 2:
A Pin 185 / 190
B Pin 206 / 211
C Pin 209 / 209

Hole 3:
A Pin 311 / 311
B Pin 348 / 348
C Pin 369 / 374

Hole 4:
A Pin 243 / 208
B Pin 252 / 217
C Pin 282 / 272

Hole 5:
A Pin 303 / 308
B Pin 368 / 368
C Pin 405 / 410

Hole 6:
A Pin 271 / 296
B Pin 304 / 349
C Pin 319 / 324

Hole 7:
A Pin 285 / 275
B Pin 331 / 341
C Pin 374 / 369

Hole 8:
A Pin 283 / 288
B Pin 291 / 281

A Pin 237 / 237
B Pin 295 / 290
C Pin 300 / 325

Hole 12:
A Pin 259 / 274 (may increase)

sorry to hear that... ;)

guess that's what happens when you get older!

I have a GPS if that would help with more accurate readings.

tee sign pictures?

Are photos of the tee signs that show the actual locations of the baskets online somewhere?  I've looked around a bit, but I don't see them.  If no, I'll try and shoot some pictures next weekend and post them.

BTW: I Love the new course.  I'm truly blown away by the tough pin positions and I've really enjoyed the back 9.

Not yet...

We have a course walk through in the works but it will be a few weeks before it is up online.
