Work Party This Saturday (12/13) at 10:00am

We are having a work party this Saturday at 10am near the basket for Hole 11. We are planting a bunch of myrtle trees to eventually screen off the eroded hillside on Hole 12.

We could really use some help out there -- with enough people we should be able to do it in a few hours, possibly followed by doubles?

Please let us know if you can make it and please bring shovels if you have them. Thanks!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out on saturday to plant the wax myrtles on the hillside of 12. It will take a few years (and diligent watering) but we hope this will really help with the erosion problems on the hillside.

I propose that we, and other regular players, each adopt a tree. Watch over it, protect it, and help it grow. Whenever you play Hole 12, check on your tree, reinforce its berm or put up a protective branch, maybe even bring it some water during the summer, etc.

If multiple people end up adopting the same tree, so much the better.
