What happened?

I know there have been aces since mine..

One I have to give a shout and mad props for is Aurelius Lewicki's back to back aces.  Two weeks in a row on hole 9 in tourney play... Wow!

Who Else is out there and not getting listed?  Call them out!

I was in the group with Matt Brenner when he hit that Ace. If I'm not mistaken, he had purchased the disc either that morning or fairly recently. Anyway it was a beautiful thing to see. Congratulations to all you ACE runners. I miss the SFDGC. I'll be keeping an eye on you from the East.

I'm going back in the day but my first GGP ace was 3A with a polaris ls. It was the first ever weekly ace, but that didn't last long because Jeff David hit 2a on the same day. We split a $80 pot. Witnessed by Steve Gilette and a bunch of others I can't remember. Sometime late 2003...

Jabir Ponce 10-11-09 for the biggest ace pool ever at GGP: over a 1,000 bucks for a shot on 14A with a valkyrie. Sweet stuff Jabir!

Jabir received his big fat Ace Pool stack yesterday afternoon, and he told me that he won't be around next weekend. Being the gentleman that he is, however, he gave me a great big pile of five dollar bills to buy beer for everyone. My plan: take big stack of fives to the Bevmo and buy a whole bunch of beers. Bring out lots of beer on Sunday 10/18 after I finish my round. Save whatever is left for Sunday 10/25.

I know that lots of folks won't be around for the weekly on Sunday due to the Monterey tourney, but Jabir gave me enough to probably supply plenty for two weeklies. Thanks Jabir! I'm glad the ace pool went to a local and a generous one at that.

He was directing pedestrians away from the fairway due to the hippiefest, or whatever it was that brought a million tye-dyed Jerry-atrics tromping through tourney on sunday, sprinted back, grabbed a disc, and hurried to throw before the fairway was overrun by the dazed and confused again. No skip, bounce, or even ever a question of if it was going in. This is the third time someone in my group has aced 10b. I'm not playing this hole with other people anymore. It's getting too expensive.
