There are ways to have a safe safari. The only hole that was questionable during last week's weekly was the reverse mando on hole 16. Errant throws there could easily go into the meadow. So that probably shouldn't have been played. However, the rest of it was legit: there wasn't a bad shot in the bunch save hole 14C, which is as bad as it gets. TDs should be creative but safe if they're going to implement safari. Remember, the course as is is fine, and it takes a LOT of work to line new islands, OBs, and set mandos.
