Stafford Lake disc golf course closed on red flag fire days

Due to the second recent fire, the course is closed today due to it being a red flag day. For the time being, we will have to check to see if it is a red flag day before heading out to Stafford. I'm sure there are going to be a lot of complaints, if you or anyone asks you the phone # @ Stafford Lake Ranger Station is 415-897-0618   the # at the Head Office is 415-499-6387. As we get more info, we can try and be pro-active and propose fire extinguishers on the course and other ideas to prevent fires out there.

that sucks!  i'm really sorry to hear there has been yet another fire out there  :(
people better not be smoking out there!  they need to start chewing, or take a smoke break with their feet in the lake.  there is way to much dry grass out there... a huge fire can happen way too easily.
