Lipton Tea: Safari tournament sponsor?

Postby ¡faes! » Thu Jul 19, 2007 12:24 pm

Can anyone explain the link between Lipton Tea and disc golf? In the Netherlands? Anyone speak/read Dutch? Even if you don't, you may find this link amusing...

I have a friend studying law in Amsterdam, she says Lipton disc golf ads are all over the place. Strange.

During one of the work parties I overhead some people talking about how Lipton is one of the first "big" corporate Disc Golf sponsors.

It would be interesting to find out what, if anything, we bring on a day of disc golfing each time, or most commonly.

For me:
-Fat Tire Ale or Sierra Nevada Pale
-Beef Jerky - Pemmican or Jack Links
-David Sunflower seed kernels, those shells aren't from me.
-Tiger's Milk or Clif Bar
-Crystal Geyser bottled water.
