Course size?

Hey there, I'm going to walk some grounds in my town to see if a decent course will fit. What's the acreage of the Marx Meadow Course?

It's about 20 acres. There are a plethora of articles on course design out there. The basic rule of thumb is that there should be at least one acre per hole. More for championship caliber courses, less for rec courses. What type of course are you thinking of designing?

How ocme over the internet. It only says 5-acres. I'm confused now. That's a permanent 18 hole course.
