Visiting San Fransisco

I will be visiting San Fran on Monday December 11. I would ike to see if I can go play the new Golden Gate park course , but my company doesn,t want to rent a car for the afternoon. Is there anyone willing to pick me up and drop me off at the airport for some gas money? I know this is an out there question, but Monday afternoon is the only day I will have to play golf. I get in town at 1:00pm.

take bart to berkeley, goes right from the airport and brings you right back

Is there a particular train or bus that I would need to take?

Howdy - hope I'm not to late getting back to you - Just take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train right from the airport, and get off at the Downtown Berkeley station, which links up with a number of AC Transit bus lines that can get you down to Aquatic Park, where the course is. BART trip will take about an hour and cost 5.65 each way. Not sure on the bus part, but you can check the web sites on both if you want - www.bart.gov, and www.actransit.org, for more info.

I got a rental to make this easier, are there going to be any locals out around 2:00pm? I'm sure that I could find my way around, but someone to show me the way is always good. I wish I could play Golden Gate Park, I played the first ever disc golf event there back in the early 80's and it was sweet!
