Problems with new forum members.

Sean Jack was telling me he has tried to join the forum as three different log on names and it keeps denying him access. Can someone fix this problem?

It's being worked on with very little volunteer time available currently.

In a nutshell our host turned off the emailing part of it (to receive and click an activation link), because we're on an old version of PHPBB. We're on an old version of PHP simply because we changed web hosts 6 months ago and so we moved it all over intact at it's current version. (they shut us off a couple months later). All the new one will allow is the latest version of PHPBB emailing functions, basically.

In the works is upgrading it, I think. Thanks for your patience.

Correct, I think by March 1st we'll have upgraded it. if we can't salvage people that couldnt' activate their account by email, we will let them know to join again, by email.

Anyone who previously had any problem registering (err, activating) their account can now have the activation link reset. Just click "Login" and then "Resend Activation Email".
