Free Clinics Second Saturday Of Every Month!

The San Francisco Disc Golf Club has a special committment to involving young people in frisbee-related sports. Whether in the public schools or at events such as Operation Hope hosted by the Police Department, our experience has been the same: young people love to throw frisbees, develop new skills, and play together.

At the new Golden Gate Park Disc Golf Course, the Club will sponsor monthly clinics on the second Saturday of each month from 10am-noon. At these clinics, people will be able to learn the rules and etiquette of disc golf. We will also, depending on our ability to raise funds, provide discounted frisbees to all participants under the age of 16.

Our first clinic is on Saturday, October 11th. Hope to see you there!

Our club works closely with the SF Unified School District, which in 1996 included frisbee golf in its athletic curriculum. We are especially eager to work with PE teachers in the school district to help bring the joys of frisbee to all of the district's students. If you'd like to bring a class out to the course, or if you need us to come to your school, contact Ross (see above).
