The San Francisco Disc Golf Club has been working on a revised layout for a disc golf course in McLaren Park. This new layout is based on some of the concerns that were raised in the April 2010 community meeting about the course and through countless meetings with different groups and individuals connect with McLaren Park. This new layout would be completely outside of the dog play area in the areas south of Mansell Street and west of Shelley Drive. This layout also takes into account the more sensitive natural areas as well as the Philosopher’s Way. We are really excited to have a compromise layout that address the concerns of the community. Through the month of May, we will be gathering more feedback from the community for this new layout.
